garmin nuvi usb

Having trouble viewing pictures on garmin nuvi 350. Is there a file size limitation? Any other suggestions?

I am trying to transfer some .jpeg photos from "documents/my pictures" to my Garmin Nuvi 350. It looks like the USB transfer is successful, but I have not been able to view the pics on the Nuvi. The message is "image is too large". I have significantly reduced the file sizes of the pics, to see if this will help. So far, no go. I don't see any helpful tips on this in the .pdf User's Manual. Any ideas?

It may not be a problem with the file size, but a problem with the resolution of the picture. Try changing the resolution to a multiple of 320 x 240 and see if that helps. I tried transfering a pictures to my 660. The largest picture that I could find was 11MB, and it displayed correctly. (It didn't fit the screen, but it did display.)
