I'm looking to get the 1350t model. My question is, when I put in an address to navigate to when I'm done he asks me if I want to simulate the route. When I click yes, it shows you how. When I click No, he says GPS is turned off and does not navigate. Am I able to navigate my way without looking at the simulation?
Yes, you can navigate without visualization of the route. What you want to store is a demonstration model that can only display a simulated route. When you select "no" on the model you buy, it will sail as it should. The store display model is not able to navigate (or has been disabled) and is there to show its characteristics. The one you buy will be fully functional right out of the box. Just follow the installation instructions and start surfing.
