Is my garmin nuvi 200 work for geocaching??
I asked a GPS for my birthday so I can start geocaching, but one of my friends who made geocaching for a long time I said the wrong thing. There are so many parameters, it seems like there should be a way to it works but I do not really know where to start!
Good news: it can accept custom points of interest (waypoints) to geocaching, you can use it. The good thing about geocaching is that as your GPS allows you to enter a coordinate system (Latitude / longitude), You can use geocaching. Bad news: the nuvi is designed for driving, not for entertainment. A device such as computer Pocket uses regular batteries instead of rechargeable batteries, because you never know how long you will need to use geocaching, and can load the cards topo. In addition, most handhelds are reasonably waterproof. The nüvi is not designed to allow water to all. If your desire One is geocaching, I recommend you return. For the same price, you can get a handheld Nice as the garmin etrex legend HCx ... for just a little more, I recommend the garmin gpsmap 60 Cx receiver ... really good!
