How do I download photos on a memory card with a card reader?
Just got a garmin 260w and the man selling says I can use a card reader to download pictures from my laptop onto a memory card and upload to the GPS.
All you need do is plug the drive and the memory card into your laptop and the laptop suggest that the memory card is a small hard disk. Then just click and drag the image files in Explorer of your primary hard drive memory card. If you have Windows 98SE, you will need the driver for the card reader to do the job. It should come with the card reader. Otherwise, you can download the generic drivers, removable from the Web.
