What GPS should I get? Garmin 265WT or 760? Or else ...?
I am in the market for a new GPS, and have reduced my search to 2 choices: garmin nuvi 265WT, and the Garmin Nuvi 760. The two are the same price ($ 250 on Amazon), but the question is, which is the best buy overall? I do not care about reading MP3 or photo sharing, mostly just response time, POI, Bluetooth, perhaps. I know these two are about the same stats, I was just wondering, which to choose? Or, the question aside, what many other models around this price (online) are they?
It depends. Both of you give about the same functionality. The 265 has a better antenna. The 760 has a better screen. One thing to be aware of though is that the 265 is comes with a lifetime subscription to traffic service via the FM antenna. Cost $ 60 760 per year for this function. Great .... if you live in service area. This allows you to be alerted when there's heavy traffic coming .... and the road around it. If you live in a big city, it is a big deal. If you do not, it's an advantage rarely used.
