Can you update discontinued GPS models.?
I'm looking to buy a GPS unit that is about 75% reduction, because it has been discontinued by Garmin. I wondered if I would still be able to update maps or Garmin or third party software. In addition, this receiver has a subscription service with MSN traffic, would it still work?
AFAIK, you can always get the updates the map, unless they change the format of the card. The traffic in MSN should work well. The only thing is that they may not provide firmware updates more.
