Garmin StreetPilot C510 - will not turn on!?
I bought a Garmin C510 at the weekend and it worked great until I turned off my car engine last night. The unit asked if I wanted to change to the internal battery or it stops automatically. It closed by itself after 10 seconds and when I tried to turn it back a little later, it would not work. I tried to reset and on again, but nothing happens. Any ideas somebody?
First, I suggest you put your car with the adapter plugged in. Next, pull the adapter for a few seconds then plug it back in. This usually works for mine. If this n 'works, try the master reset the unit. Here it is: Hold the bottom right of the screen, if possible with the back of a pencil eraser, then press the power until the screen lights up, then let him go. Keep the pressure on the eraser on the screen until the Delete all user data appears. Hit yes and the device will be reset. If it still does not call 1800-800-1020 Garmin and they will help. It is not usually a waiting there and they are very useful.
